Tagvex

About Tagvex

What is the difference between batch and unit level?

At batch level, products in the same batch carry the same number; at unit level, every product has its own. You can move from batch to unit level later.

How is a duplicated code detected?

If the same code is scanned somewhere unexpected or scanned repeatedly, it shows up in the records.

Can it be added to our existing label design?

Yes. The number and code are placed into your existing label layout; a separate label is also possible.

How does it help with recalls?

Because it is recorded which batch or unit went where, a recall can be limited to the affected products only.

Can verification happen in our own app?

Yes. Tagvex can be delivered as a white-label app published under your brand's name and look. If you already have a mobile app, scanning is added to it with an SDK; records are connected to your ERP, warehouse and other enterprise systems through an API.

Does Tagvex run in the cloud or can it be installed on-premise?

Both are possible. Tagvex can run in the cloud; if the records need to stay in your own infrastructure, it is installed on-premise.

General

General questions

Who can verify a product?

Company teams, dealers, audit units and end users can verify products with the mobile app; no authorisation is needed.

Is a special device required to verify?

No. A smartphone and the mobile app are enough.

Do we have to use the solutions together?

Not necessarily. Most brands start with the single solution that matches their highest-priority risk and add others as the need grows. Used together, packaging, labels and digital channels meet in the same record.

What is the difference between tracking and verification?

Tracking records the points a product passes through. Verification proves that the product in front of you is the same as the one in the record. A reliable system needs both.

Setup and operation

Setup and operation

How is the starting solution chosen?

In the first meeting we review the product, the production line and the sales channels. Most brands start with a single solution.

How long does setup take?

It depends on the structure of the product, the solution and its scope. After the needs analysis we share a plan with the stages and dates.

Can we run a pilot?

Yes. Projects usually start with a single product or batch; the scope is widened once the results are reviewed.

How is the cost determined?

By the solution, the number of products, the numbering level and the number of channels monitored. A firm quotation is prepared after the needs analysis.

Can you run the operation after setup?

Yes. Field verification, record management and reporting can be provided as a service.
