From needs analysis to field operation.

Every project follows the same four phases. Scope is set by the product’s structure and the risk it faces.

Process

Four phases, clear responsibilities.

The outputs of each phase are shared in writing at project kick-off.

  1. 01

    Needs analysis

We review the product, label layout, production line and distribution chain.

    • Review of the label and packaging structure
    • Assessment of the production and filling line
    • Identifying distribution points and risks

    Output: Risk map and priorities

  2. 02

    Numbering design

Batch or unit level is chosen; the code's place on the label and the scanning points are defined.

    • Deciding on batch or unit level
    • Defining the scanning points
    • Selecting a pilot product or batch

    Output: Deployment plan

  3. 03

    Line integration

The label is read at the end of the line; warehouse, distributor and dealer scans are configured.

    • Setting up end-of-line scanning
    • Setting up cloud or on-premise records infrastructure
    • Configuring the branded app or the API and SDK integration

    Output: A working records system

  4. 04

    Field operation

Distribution records are monitored; channel diversion and duplicate codes are reported.

    • Monitoring distribution records
    • Tracking channel diversion and duplicate codes
    • Periodic reporting and improvement

    Output: Regular reports

Throughout the project

Project management principles.

01

A single point of contact

The same team stays with the project; questions and decisions are handled in one place.

02

A plan shared in advance

The scope, schedule and output of each stage are shared in writing before work begins.

03

Transparent reporting

Progress, field results and digital detections are reported at agreed intervals.

FAQ

Questions about the process

How long does the process take?

It depends on the structure of the product, the chosen solution and its scope. At the end of the needs analysis, the schedule for each stage is shared in writing.

Does production have to stop?

No. The signature and numbering are integrated into the existing design and print process; the line keeps running.

Can we start with a single product?

Yes. Most projects start with a pilot product or batch and are extended once the results are reviewed.

What happens after setup?

Verification, record keeping and reporting continue. On request, day-to-day operation is run by the Tagvex team.

Meeting request

The right numbering level for your product is set through a needs analysis.

The first meeting reviews your product, sales channels and the risks you face, and recommends a suitable method.
